Friendly Streets Initiative utilizes surveys — paper and online — as one important tool among many to assess community opinions and desires regarding the public spaces in their neighborhoods.  At present all FSI surveys are currently closed.

Past surveys:

Rondo Land Bridge Survey is now closed.  Thank you for your feedback!

Victoria Street Bridge Survey closed March 11th 2016.  Thank you for your feedback!

Community snowball fights or warming huts?  Thank you for telling us what you’d like to see in St. Paul during winter with the Wintermission survey, closed on March 11th 2016.

Our survey for the Fairview Avenue Underpass Creative Lighting, which was installed from October 2015 – January 2016, is now closed. Thanks so much for all your feedback! It will help Friendly Streets, the Union Park District Council and the City of Saint Paul determine whether to consider more permanent creative lighting solutions in this and similar sites in the future.

Our survey for the Snelling Bridge Green Space is now closed. Thanks everyone, we received more than 200 opinions for improving the area northwest of the new Snelling bridge. Visit our Snelling Green Space project page for more info, and photos from 2015 engagement activities and the design workshop.

Our online survey for the Lexington, Griggs and Hamline bridges over the freeway is now closed. Thanks to everyone who took part! We received 270 responses. Take a look at fun photos of the April 2015 Better Bridges Bash and the Community Workshop led by the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation.
