Thanks to the ~450 people who joined us October 24th for our second Fairview Underpass Party on Fairview Avenue beneath I-94! The Creative Underpass Lighting by Kyle Waites is still up for several more weeks, so it’s not too late to go check out this temporary transformation of the pedestrian area on the west side of the underpass. Kudos to everyone who participated.

And most of all, thanks to our neighborhood-led working group for all their excellent work planning this and spreading the word, and our superstar volunteers, many of whom stayed longer than their two hour shift to keep the campfires, s’more’s and conversations going all night. Core working group members include Josh and Laura Capistrant, Julie Reiter, Michael Johnson, Erin Pavlica, Kyle Mianulli, Steve Mitrione, and Nate Kellar-Long. We could not do this work without all of you!
Additional coordination and support has come from the City of Saint Paul and Minnesota Department of Transportation. This project is supported by the Central Corridor Funders Collaborative, the Knight Foundation Green Line Challenge and the Center for Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
